Grace-Full Memes is a faith-based creative application developed and operated by Hooked By Grace LLC. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our mobile application. If you disagree with its terms, please discontinue use of the app.

2. Information We Collect

Information You Provide Directly

• Account information: If you create an account (e.g., via Google Sign-In), we receive your Google profile name, email address, and profile photo.
• User-generated content: Images, text overlays, and memes you create within the app.
• Support communications: If you contact us for support, we retain that correspondence.
• Feature interest signals: If you opt into upcoming feature notifications (such as Kingdom Builder for Grace-Full Memes), we collect your email address, your account user ID, your indicated pricing preference, the app version at time of submission, and the submission timestamp. This information is collected only when you actively submit the interest form; tapping the feature entry alone does not collect data.

Information Collected Automatically

• Anonymous usage data via Firebase Analytics (screens viewed, features used, session duration).
• Device identifiers collected by Firebase as part of standard operation.
• Advertising identifier: The app uses Google AdMob to serve ads. AdMob may collect your device's advertising identifier (Android AD_ID) to deliver relevant ads. You may opt out of personalized advertising through your device settings.
• Anonymized crash and performance data to improve app stability.

Device Permissions We Request

• Camera: Used to capture photos for creating memes within the app. Photos are processed locally on your device; we do not upload raw camera streams to our servers.
• Photo Library/Storage: Used to import images from your device for meme creation. We do not access, store, or transmit your photo library contents beyond the app.
• Storage: Used to save memes locally on your device for later access and deletion. Memes are never backed up to cloud services unless you explicitly upload them.

Information We Do Not Collect

• We do not collect your precise GPS location.
• We do not collect your contacts, call history, or messages.
• We do not sell your personal information to third parties.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

• Provide, operate, and maintain the app and its features.
• Authenticate your identity and manage your account.
• Serve advertisements through Google AdMob (free tier users).
• Analyze usage patterns to improve app performance and user experience.
• Respond to your support inquiries.
• Comply with applicable legal obligations.
• Notify you about, and inform development of, upcoming features when you have opted into feature interest signals (such as Kingdom Builder).

Legal Basis for Processing (GDPR & International Compliance)

We process your information under the following legal bases:

• Contractual necessity: To provide app services and manage your account.
• Legitimate interest: To improve app performance, security, and user experience (analytics, crash reporting).
• Consent: Where required by law (personalized advertising, feature interest signals, push notifications).
• Legal compliance: To meet applicable legal obligations.

International Data Transfers

Firebase (Google) operates servers globally, including in the United States. By using the app, you consent to the transfer of your data to countries outside your country of residence, which may have different data protection laws. Google is bound by Standard Contractual Clauses and other mechanisms to protect your data in transit and at rest.

4. Sharing of Information

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. We may share information in these limited circumstances:

• Service providers: We share data with trusted third-party services (Firebase/Google, RevenueCat, Google AdMob) solely to operate the app. These providers are contractually obligated to protect your data.
• Legal requirements: We may disclose information if required by law, court order, or governmental authority.
• Business transfers: In the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction.

5. Third-Party Services

The app integrates the following third-party services, each with their own privacy practices:

• Google Firebase — Authentication, Firestore, Analytics, Storage
• Google AdMob — Advertising
• RevenueCat — In-app purchases
• Bible API — Scripture content retrieved over HTTPS; no personal data transmitted.

6. Children's Privacy

The app is not directed to children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we become aware that a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, we will delete it promptly. 7. Data Retention

We retain your account information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide services. Anonymous usage data may be retained in aggregated form indefinitely for analytical purposes. You may request deletion of your account and associated data by contacting us. Feature interest signals (such as Kingdom Builder) are retained for up to 24 months from submission, after which they are deleted unless you have an active subscription to that feature.

8. Security

We implement commercially reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information, including HTTPS encryption for data in transit and Firebase Security Rules for data at rest. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

9. Your Rights and Choices

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to:

• Access: Request a copy of the personal information we hold about you.
• Correction: Request correction of inaccurate information.
• Deletion: Request deletion of your personal information.
• Opt out of personalized ads: Device Settings → Google → Ads → Opt out of Ads Personalization (Android).
• Withdraw consent: Where processing is based on consent, you may withdraw it at any time.

10. California Residents (CCPA)

11. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Effective Date" at the top of this page. For material changes, we will provide notice within the app or by email. Your continued use of the app after any changes constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.

12. Jurisdiction & Governing Law

This Privacy Policy is governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Missouri, without regard to its conflict of law principles. You agree that any legal action or proceeding relating to this Privacy Policy shall be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Dade County, Missouri.
